Microbac | Autoimmunity

One of the fundamental properties of the immune system lies in the ability to discriminate between self and non-self antigens. When this self-tolerance is lost, immune reactions against self antigens occur, commonly called autoimmune reactions, which lead to autoimmune diseases.

These diseases are characterized by the spontaneous production of antibodies directed against self antigens. Numerous autoantibodies have been identified, of which only a few are clinically important, affecting 3% to 5% of our general population with a multifactorial etiology that leads to the development of a chronic disease.

Throughout our history, we have been concerned with offering solutions that contribute to the diagnosis and monitoring of these autoimmune diseases.

We have remained attentive to the technological advances of the international market, constantly searching for those solutions, methodologies or instruments that fit the needs of our clients. This is why, within our product portfolio, we offer different diagnostic options; ELISA, Chemiluminescence, both in manual and automated formats.
