Last week, our BQ Alan Fritz participated in the IDS / EUROAcademy training, held at the EUROIMMUN South America offices, in São Caetano do Sul, São Paulo, Brazil.

The English company Immunodiagnostic Systems Holding (IDS) is a leading company in in vitro diagnostics and has more than 30 years of experience in the market. Today, around 300 employees worldwide develop and distribute high-quality random access automation solutions, chemiluminescence immunoassays and ELISA for the areas of endocrinology and autoimmune, infection and allergy diagnostics.

It is currently the newest member of the PerkinElmer conglomerate, to which EUROIMMUN belongs, a leading international company in medicine and biotechnology. It is headquartered in Waltham (Massachusetts), and has 16,000 employees worldwide who produce a powerful portfolio of products for the diagnosis of autoimmune and infectious diseases and for genetic analysis.

Within this new association, the IDS / EUROAcademy training program was created, with the aim of providing high-level training on its products in different regions of the world to qualified personnel of its distributors.

Last week, our BQ Alan Fritz participated in the one-week Specialist course for South American suppliers, called Application Training – IDS Systems Family, taking training that allowed him to understand the products and technology of the IDS-iSYS equipment, operate the IDS-iSYS system (configuration, maintenance, sample loading, programming and use), solve problems and carry out first-level research, in addition to collaborating with IDS international technical support.

In addition, the agenda included opportunities to interact more fluidly with our direct technical support in the event of incidents, and with international companies in the sector, being able to exchange experiences, strengthen ties and contacts.

“For me it has meant a great responsibility and joy to have the opportunity to acquire knowledge and tools from the creators of the equipment. Since it is part of my job to know and transmit information to the clinical end user, having the option to exchange information from a first-hand source, resolve doubts and add experience is priceless with respect to the continuous training and quality of professional service that I hope to deliver,” says Alan.

At Microbac we know the importance of the continuous training of our collaborators at an internal and external level, we congratulate Alan for his participation in this important training event!
